Schedule a meeting with us to discuss your aviation career goals and how we can help you to get there.
Upon enrolment you will receive a Training Starter Lot which contains all relevant course materials, access to shared online resources, and detailed information on your course process. Your orientation will include an introduction to the airport, airspace, aircraft fleet, LTF processes and policies, and our facilities.
Students can do simulation training in either Hong Kong, Singapore or Melbourne. Your time in the simulator will help you grasp the techniques needed in each training session, allowing you to put the skills you have learnt into practice when you start your flight training component in a real aircraft. Students will also conduct 737 simulation training in Melbourne, they will get to experience what it's like to command a 60-tonne jet airliner.
Flight training will be conducted at Learn to Fly's Melbourne training base. The flight training you will undertake will be conducted in modern aircraft with glass cockpit avionics and LCD flight instrument displays similar to those in commercial passenger jets. Every new exercise is demonstrated by the flight instructor, and the student will improve learned skills through practice.
Through a series of discussions on the aviation industry and flight training principles, the Cadet Pilot Interview Workshop will give you a clear understanding of what it takes to become an airline pilot and how to prepare for your cadet pilot interview.
During this Airline Interview Coaching Session, we will teach you how to best present your documents and yourself in interviews. In the session, you will thoroughly review your CV as well as enhance your human relations (HR) and technical knowledge to prepare for entry-level airline positions.

Welcome to the Learn to Fly FAQ section! Our aim is to provide you with the essential information you need to begin this exciting adventure with confidence. For further assistance, feel free to contact us.
The Future Cadet Pilot Program (FCPP) program is tailored for students with little or no flying experience who aspire to join airline cadet pilot programs. It provides a comprehensive introduction to flight training, outlines the pathway to becoming a pilot, and equips students with the knowledge and skills needed to succeed in airline cadet pilot interviews.
The key difference between the FCPP and other training programs is its strong emphasis on airline interview preparation in addition to flight training. It features specialised components like online Aviation English Language Proficiency (AELP) training and a dedicated Airline Interview Coaching Session, these elements are not offered in other programs.
It’s recommended to complete this training 3 to 6 months before your airline interview. This gives you time to research, review, and practise the skills learned during the session. You can also choose to add a revision session closer to your interview date, where we’ll review everything with you again to ensure you’re fully prepared.
Yes, since the training duration is under 3 months, you’re eligible to undertake it on a tourist visa.
The training typically takes between 1 to 8 weeks to complete, depending on the package you choose.
All packages include access to an online theory course. Once you enrol, we’ll send you the login details so you can begin studying from your home country.
The airline interview coaching session can be completed either in person in Melbourne or online.
Please note that while theory can be done remotely, practical flight training must be completed in Melbourne. This requires approximately 1 week for the Lite package, 3 weeks for the Solo package, and 6–8 weeks for the RPL package. If needed, you can complete the training over multiple visits, as your progress will not expire.
While we cannot guarantee that every student will pass their airline cadet pilot interview, our Future Cadet Pilot Program (FCPP) is specifically designed to maximize your chances of success. Since 2017, our program has helped more than 300 students secure positions with various airlines, including Cathay Pacific Airways, Jetstar, Singapore Airlines and Scoot.
